John Clark Motor Group is looking for an enthusiastic and organised HR & Recruitment Administrator to join our fast-paced, friendly HR team. If you're looking for a role where you can truly embed yourself in the foundation of the employee experience, this is it!
Location: Aberdeen (Primary Base, frequent onsite work required)
What You'll Be Doing
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and wants a career path in Human Resources. You will be the essential foundation ensuring our team has the people they need, at the time they need it, supporting our growth and delivering flawless onboarding.
- Flawless Onboarding: Own the entire new-starter process, meticulously preparing all offer letters, contracts, job descriptions, and ensuring onboarding paperwork especially legally required documentation is compliant (such as right-to-work) and submitted to Payroll on time.
- Recruitment Support: Dive into the talent acquisition process by assisting with shortlisting CVs and posting job adverts to attract top industry talent.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all HR records and ensure accurate and timely actioning of all documentation related to internal moves and salary changes.
- Employee Touchpoints: Be a welcoming voice by conducting weekly check-in calls with new starters and supporting managers through the critical probation process.
- First Point of Contact: Efficiently manage and answer general HR queries submitted via our central HR Helpdesk.
What You'll Need to Bring
We are looking for someone who is quick to learn, proactive, and committed to a career in HR.
- Proven Experience: Prior experience in an HR or Administrator role is essential, preferably within a high-volume industry
- Administration focus: dealing with multiple roles and priorities, means being organised with attention to detail.
- HR Knowledge: Basic understanding of employment legislation (or an eagerness to learn it quickly).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- The Right Attitude: Outwardly enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possessing excellent organisational and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
